These stuffed animals are here to help up learn how to handle and transport injured wildlife. I'm taking a class with North Country Wildcard so I can be part of their Network of transporters and, eventually, a rehabilitator. New York requires rehabbers to be licensed, so there is a test in my future. It's a good way to spend Earth Day.

I am feeling very loved this week. My husband/life partner/best friend has been painstakingly finishing and assembling this just for me. It took seven months to complete. Now I get to take over, to learn how she feels, to figure out what the knobs do (and if they go to 11), and to give her a name. I did get the strings on without breaking any, so that's something. 😊

We've reached the end of the Air Module of Energetics of Yoga Advanced Teacher Training and we are moving into our ceremony to close our time together. This ceremony blends yoga, shamanic journeying, and prayer ties to fully integrate and solidify the work done around pranayama, storytelling, and communication skills that weave into amazing yoga classes. I am so honored to hold space for everyone who has been part of this program and excited that I am facilitating the elemental modules for the second time this year.

The spring equinox is almost here. Can you feel the energy of spring, even if you can't see it? We're feeling our way into that energy in Shamanic Flow Yoga this week. Sure, modeling yoga poses in the snow looks easy, but I discovered today that bare feet sink right down into the snow and it's very hard to balance. The next time you see an exquisitely modeled pose, consider all the shots that were deleted. I am reminded that I fell out of poses many times during my years of practice. Those experiences are just as valid and valuable as those balancing postures I felt at ease in. So continue to explore and enjoy the journey.
