UU Service: Digging into Groundhog Day

Join me for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Glens Falls Sunday service when I present “Digging into Groundhog Day,” a look at the surprising spirituality behind a silly American tradition. You’ll learn more about groundhogs than you ever wanted to know, then we’ll dig back through history for the origins of waking a groundhog from hibernation at the beginning of February to see if he sees his shadow. We’ll take a brief detour into the science behind the seasons, then explore why it is important, during these turbulant times, for you to pay attention to Groundhog Day.
