SUMMARY:Mountain River Ecospiritual Circle at UUCGF
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join in a Full Moon ritual inspired by earth-based spiritual traditions\, the Work the Reconnects\, and nature itself. We gather monthly to support one another’s spiritual growth and direct our collective energy toward the well being of all beings. \nDuring March’s Wind Moon ritual\, we will be creating salt and herb jars for clearing the energy in your home. All supplies will be provided\, but if you have a small jar or bowl you would like to use\, please bring it. Make sure you can cover it so it doesn’t spill on the way home. \nThe intention of our circle is to support your individual spiritual exploration and growth while connecting Pagans and others in a local\, welcoming group. Within our sacred space you will honor the Earth\, open to Mystery\, and strengthen your connection to Nature. Our inclusive circle is open to all Pagans\, including Wiccans\, Witches\, Druids\, Heathens\, and those exploring or curious about any Pagan path. No ritual experience is necessary. \nWe meet in the Community Room of the UU building\, straight ahead when you enter the main door. Our circles will be family-friendly\, but we ask that children not participating in the ritual remain in the room with quiet entertainment. \nSome of our circle members like to bring their journals to record any insights. You are also welcome to bring items from nature to add to our altar\, as well as crystals or other sacred items to charge. We typically sit on the floor for circle\, however there are chairs available and several circle members use them. We have some yoga blankets available to sit on and you are welcome to bring your own cushion or blanket for that purpose. \nThere is no charge for this event\, but RSVPs are appreciated. DESCRIPTION:Chicks and bunnies\, seedlings and nests with eggs\, delicate spring flowers scenting the breezes – the energy of potential is everywhere. Dig into the fertile soil of your being. What is emerging that you can nurture in the new season? \nGather virtually with like-hearted souls to draw on the potential of Ostara season and celebrate\, in ceremony\, the astrological beginning of spring. \nDuring the Ostara ceremony\, you will by guided in a journey with the shamanic drum\, receive a group animal spirit oracle card reading\, and participate in a powerful ritual of drawing forth potential. Through the virtual platform you will be able to see the ceremonial altar\, as if you were in circle around it. \nRegister to join us on Zoom on Thursday\, March 20th at 7:30pmEDT. Your investment is $10. Plan to be present for about an hour. This ceremony will not be recorded\, so please mark your calendar. \nIf possible\, please have a few seeds and a small pot filled with soil for the ritual. A paper cup\, egg carton section\, or seed-starting cup will do\, too. Choose seeds you will want to see grow throughout the season – vegetable\, herb\, or flower. If you do not have these\, please know that they will be on the ceremonial altar for the benefit of everyone participating. Have your journal or paper and a pen at hand for the ceremony.
