We gather monthly to support one another’s spiritual growth and direct our collective energy toward the well being of all beings. \nThe intention of our circle is to support your individual spiritual exploration and growth while connecting Pagans and others in a local\, welcoming group. Within our sacred space you will honor the Earth\, open to Mystery\, and strengthen your connection to Nature. Our inclusive circle is open to all\, including Pagans\, Wiccans\, Witches\, Druids\, Heathens\, and those exploring or curious about any ecospiritual path. No ritual experience is necessary. \nWe will meet inside in the Community Room\, straight ahead when you enter the main door. Our full moon gatherings will typically follow this format: announcements\, centering\, connecting with local wild beings\, casting the circle\, calling the directions/elements\, meditation or other practice\, ritual\, releasing directions/elements\, closing the circle. Participants are welcome to stay after the circle is closed for informal social time. Our circles will be family-friendly\, but we ask that children not participating in the ritual remain in the room with quiet entertainment. \n\n\n\n\nSome of our circle members like to bring their journals to record any insights. You are also welcome to bring items from nature to add to our altar\, as well as crystals or other sacred items to charge. We typically sit on the floor or ground for circle\, however there are chairs available and several circle members use them. We have some backjacks and yoga blankets available to sit on and you may also bring your own cushion or blanket for that purpose. \n\nNote: We will be doing divination work during this month’s circle. Please bring a tarot or oracle deck and your journal. What do you see in the world that gives you hope? \nGather virtually with like-hearted ecospiritual souls to practice hope – hope for your vision of restoration and hope for our collective future – as the wheel turns to the season of Imbolc. Together\, in ceremony\, we will celebrate the midpoint of astrological winter and the promise of spring to come. \nDuring the Imbolc ceremony\, you will by guided in a journey with the shamanic drum\, receive a group animal spirit oracle card reading for Imbolc season\, deepen into interconnection with the groundhog\, and participate in a powerful ritual of hope for new beginnings and growth. Through the virtual platform you will be able to see the ceremonial altar\, as if you were in circle around it. \nRegister to join us on Zoom. Your investment is $10. Plan to be present for about an hour. This ceremony will not be recorded to hold safe space for you to engage fully. \nIf possible\, please have a small sprig of evergreen\, a cast iron or other type of fireproof cauldron or pot\, and a lighter or matches. SUMMARY:Mountain River Ecospiritual Circle at UUCGF
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join in a Full Moon ritual inspired by earth-based spiritual traditions\, deep ecology\, Joanna Macy’s Work the Reconnects\, and nature itself. We gather monthly to support one another’s spiritual growth and direct our collective energy toward the well being of all beings. \nThe intention of our circle is to support your individual spiritual exploration and growth while connecting Pagans and others in a local\, welcoming group. Within our sacred space you will honor the Earth\, open to Mystery\, and strengthen your connection to Nature. Our inclusive circle is open to all\, including Pagans\, Wiccans\, Witches\, Druids\, Heathens\, and those exploring or curious about any ecospiritual path. No ritual experience is necessary. \nWe will meet inside in the Community Room\, straight ahead when you enter the main door. Our full moon gatherings will typically follow this format: announcements\, centering\, connecting with local wild beings\, casting the circle\, calling the directions/elements\, meditation or other practice\, ritual\, releasing directions/elements\, closing the circle. Participants are welcome to stay after the circle is closed for informal social time. Our circles will be family-friendly\, but we ask that children not participating in the ritual remain in the room with quiet entertainment. \n\n\n\n\nSome of our circle members like to bring their journals to record any insights. You are also welcome to bring items from nature to add to our altar\, as well as crystals or other sacred items to charge. We typically sit on the floor or ground for circle\, however there are chairs available and several circle members use them. We have some backjacks and yoga blankets available to sit on and you may also bring your own cushion or blanket for that purpose. \nTo help plan for ritual supplies and space requirements\, RSVPs for this free event are appreciated. \n\n\nPlease RSVP on Eventbrite.

DESCRIPTION:Gather virtually with like-hearted ecospiritual souls to celebrate Yule\, honoring winter solstice and celebrating the return of the light. By engaging in ceremonies throughout the year\, you reconnect with the Earth’s rhythms and cycles and remember the ancestral wisdom you carry in your DNA. \nDuring the Yule ceremony\, you will by guided in a journey with the shamanic drum\, receive a group animal spirit oracle card reading\, and participate in an uplifting ritual of calling back the light. You will reflect on your own commitment to restoring well-being to the world and how you might move forward with the strengthening sun in the months to come. Through the virtual platform you will be able to see the ceremonial altar\, as if you were in circle around it. \nRegister below by December 20th to receive the PDF workbook that accompanies this ceremony\, with altar suggestions\, a sneak peak at the divination spread\, and places to record your insights. This ceremony will not be recorded\, so please mark your calendar. \nIf possible\, please have one or more candles in safe holders and a lighter or matches. If you do not have candles\, they will be on the ceremonial altar for the benefit of everyone participating\, so you will be able to witness the return of the light.

By engaging in ceremonies throughout the year\, you reconnect with the Earth’s rhythms and cycles and remember the ancestral wisdom you carry in your DNA. \nDuring the Samhain (pronounced soo-ween) ceremony\, you will by guided in a journey with the shamanic drum\, receive a group animal spirit oracle card reading\, and participate in a ritual of sending messages to those who have passed. And we will be honoring barred owls and their energy. Through the virtual platform you will be able to see the ceremonial altar\, as if you were in circle around it. \nPlan to be present for about an hour. This ceremony will not be recorded\, so please mark your calendar. \nIf possible\, please have a journal or paper and something to write with\, and\, for the ritual\, a piece of  paper\, a pen\, small cast iron pot (or other fireproof container) on a heatproof pad\, a tealight candle\, and a lighter or matches. If you do not have some or all of those items\, they will be on the ceremonial altar as well for the benefit of everyone participating. Options will be given for those who cannot safely burn paper indoors.
