SUMMARY:Mountain River Ecospiritual Circle at UUCGF
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join in a Full Moon ritual inspired by ea
 rth-based spiritual traditions\, the Work the Reconnects\, and nature it
 self. We gather monthly to support one another's spiritual growth and di
 rect our collective energy toward the well being of all beings.\n\nThe i
 ntention of our circle is to support your individual spiritual explorati
 on and growth while connecting Pagans and others in a local\, welcoming 
 group. Within our sacred space you will honor the Earth\, open to Myster
 y\, and strengthen your connection to Nature. Our inclusive circle is op
 en to all\, including Pagans\, Wiccans\, Witches\, Druids\, Heathens\, a
 nd those exploring or curious about any ecospiritual path. No ritual exp
 erience is necessary.\n\nWeather permitting\, we gather on the grass in 
 front of the UU building\, next to the pollinator garden and the labyrin
 th. Otherwise\, we meet inside in the Community Room\, straight ahead wh
 en you enter the main door. Our full moon gatherings will typically foll
 ow this format: announcements\, centering\, connecting with local wild b
 eings\, casting the circle\, calling the directions/elements\, meditatio
 n or other practice\, ritual\, releasing directions/elements\, closing t
 he circle. Participants are welcome to stay after the circle is closed f
 or informal social time. Our circles will be family-friendly\, but we as
 k that children not participating in the ritual remain in the room with 
 quiet entertainment.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur July circle for the Moon of Fire i
 ncludes a guided shamanic drum journey to be chosen by an animal whose s
 pecies you will represent in a "Council of All Beings\," based on the wo
 rk of Joanna Macy and John Seed. If you desire to lay down for the journ
 ey\, please bring extra blankets or cushions and something safe for the 
 grass such as a beach or picnic blanket or sheet.\n\nYou are welcome to 
 walk the labyrinth before or after the circle. Feel free to arrive early
  to do so.\n\n\n\nSome of our circle members like to bring their journal
 s to record any insights. You are also welcome to bring items from natur
 e to add to our altar\, as well as crystals or other sacred items to cha
 rge. We typically sit on the floor or ground for circle\, however there 
 are chairs available and several circle members use them. We have some y
 oga blankets available to sit on and you are welcome to bring your own c
 ushion or blanket for that purpose.\n\nTo help plan for ritual supplies
