DESCRIPTION:Debbie will be one of the instructors for North Country Wild
  Care's Introduction to Turtle Rehabilitation class for licensed wildlif
 e rehabilitators in northeastern NY.\n\nDue to their unique anatomy\, in
 jured turtles are challenging to rehabilitate but releases are very grat
 ifying. Learn turtle care in the rehabilitation setting. We will begin w
 ith basic turtle physiology\, discuss intake\, triage\, and stabilizatio
 n\, then cover husbandry\, including dry docking during recovery\, wound
  management\, and water setups in preparation of release.\n\nWARNING: Th
 e presentation will include graphic photos of turtle injuries. The class
  (and turtle rehab) is not recommended for those who are sensitive to bl
